NEW LONDON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Teddy bears and fire trucks are set to honor a three-year-old boy who died after wandering away from his New London home.
Tysen French was found in the Wolf River on April 13.
French “was the happiest kid you could ever meet and he loved nothing more than being outside,” the obituary reads. “He loved taking walks and seeing what there was to see.”
Ahead of his funeral Tuesday, the French family is collecting teddy bears to be donated to Outagamie County autism programs.
French also loved fire trucks and a few are expected to join the funeral procession to the cemetery.
Teddy bears can be brought to the Most Precious Blood Church in New London on Tuesday, April 21 at 8 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Also the Cline Hanson Funeral home in New London will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday for people to drop off their donations.
