(LEARFIELD)- Marquette will take on NCAA national champion Michigan in a nonconference basketball game this fall.
The Golden Eagles will go on the road to Ann Arbor on November 11th.
Both universities made the announcement Wednesday.
It’s a home-and-home series with the Wolverines coming to the Fiserv Forum the following season.
Michigan finished with a 37-and-3 record and the title 10 days ago.
Marquette struggled through a 12-and-20 season.
Golden Eagles land a big 1 through the portal: According to #DraftExpress’s Jonathan Givony, the Marquette Golden Eagles have landed a 6′ 11″ German center Sananda Fru.
Fru played last season with Louisville and was one of the ACC’s most efficient scorers and is also an excellent offensive rebounder and shot blocker.
Fru averaged 9.1 points per game last season for Louisville and pulled down 6.1 rebounds per game.
