(LEARFIELD) – University of Wisconsin athletic director Chris McIntosh is stepping down after 12 years in Madison.
He became AD in July 2021.
The Sports Business Journal reports McIntosh will become the deputy commissioner for strategy at the Big Ten Conference.
He played college football for the Badgers and was drafted by the NFL Seattle Seahawks in 2000.
Deputy athletic director and football general manager Marcus Sedberry is expected to take the position on an interim basis.
