(LEARFIELD) – The Wisconsin Badgers men’s hockey team heads to Las Vegas this week for the NCAA Frozen Four men’s national championships.
Badgers coach Mike Hastings talked key to the Frozen Four as they get ready.
Hastings said that they’ve been battle tested.
He added that there’s a real passion to succeed at Wisconsin.
Hastings talked about the Badgers’ outstanding freshman class.
He said that they’ve beaten some great teams this season and there’s more ahead in the Frozen Four Field.
Wisconsin will play North Dakota at 4 p.m. Thursday in the first semifinal with Michigan and Denver meeting in the second semifinal at 7:30 p.m.
One recruit makes a difference: A commitment from four-star running back prospect Kingston Allen has boosted Wisconsin football’s recruiting class of 2027 into the top-10 nationally (9th).
BadgersWire.com reports that it’s been a big week for head coach Luke Fickell and his staff.
The Badgers nosed into the top-15 recruiting classes earlier, according to 247Sports, when they got commits from Hunter and Reece Mallinger.
Wisconsin has landed all eight in-state players targeted so far this offseason.
