(247NEWSSOURCE) -The Milwaukee Bucks were criticized by the National Basketball Players Association on Tuesday.
The NBPA said that forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is “healthy and ready to play” and implied Milwaukee is violating the league’s anti-tampering rules.
Antetokounmpo has missed 35 games due to various injuries this season and ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the team requested that Antetokounmpo sit out the rest of the season.
On to Portland: The Milwaukee Bucks will wrap up their road trip tonight.
Milwaukee is set to take on the Trail Blazers.
The Bucks lost 115-103 to Portland in November.
Bobby Portis scored a team-high 22 points off the bench in that game.
Milwaukee enters the matchup with a 29-and-42 record while Portland is 36-37 and winners of 6 of their last 10 games. Portland is also 19-16 at home while the Bucks are 13-23 on the road.
The game can be heard beginning at 8:30 tonight on 99.7 and 101.9 WNFL.
