(GREEN BAY ATHLETICS) – The Green Bay women’s basketball team plays its final home game of the regular season on Wednesday against IU Indy at 6 p.m. CST before traveling to Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday for the team’s regular season finale at 1 p.m. CST.

ABOUT THE JAGUARS
IU Indy is led by fourth-year head coach Kate Bruce, who has the Jaguars at a 12-15 record entering Wednesday’s game. IU Indy is led in scoring by junior Nevaeh Foster, who averages 12.8 points per game. Fellow Junior Hailey Smith is also averaging 9.5 points per game for the Jaguars. Smith leads IU Indy in both rebounds per game, grabbing 6.0 boards on average, and assists per game, dishing 2.2 per game. Olivia Smith is the only other Jaguar averaging in double figures at 10.6 points per game.
ABOUT THE MASTODONS
Purdue Fort Wayne is led by reigning Horizon League Coach of the Year Maria Marchesano, who guided the team to its first Horizon League Championship game in program history in her fourth season a year ago. PFW is 16-12 and is in fifth place in the HL at 10-8. The Mastodons are led by the Horizon League’s top scorer, Alana Nelson, who averages a conference-best 16.5 points per game. PFW also gets 11.2 points per game from Lili Krasovec and 10.5 points from Jordan Reid, the Mastodons’ lone returning starter from last season.

Jenna Guyer scored a career-high 23 points on senior day to help lead the Green Bay women’s basketball team to a 91-57 win over the Milwaukee Panthers at home Saturday, in front of the largest crowd of the season. With the win, the Phoenix locked up the Horizon League Regular Season Title outright.
HORIZON LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
For the second-straight season, the Phoenix won the Horizon League Regular Season Championship. Green Bay has won the regular season title three out of the last four years.
