MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Marinette police are searching for a missing woman whose last known contact indicated she was in distress, saying “please don’t shoot me.”
Gabriella “Gabby” Cartagena, 24, was reported missing Wednesday, Feb. 4 around 7:20 p.m.
Cartagena was last known to be near N2330 Shore Drive, close to the boat launch by Little River Country Club around 5 p.m.
Her last known contact was around 7 p.m., indicating she was in distress, crying and saying, “please don’t shoot me.”
Her phone location at that time showed Red Arrow Park in Marinette.
Cartagena is described as 5’6″ tall, weighing about 129 pounds with brown hair, slightly past shoulder length. She was last known to be wearing black joggers, tan slippers, a black robe and possibly a black jacket.
Cartagena has not been seen or heard from since. Friends and family tell authorities this is extremely out of character for her as she never turns her phone off and does not know many people in the Marinette area.
