It's telling of MSNBC which, like CNN, seems to have no problem hiring individuals who engaged in corrupt and/or criminalistic behavior during their time at the highest levels of government and its intelligence agencies.
John Brennan (MSNBC) and Jim Clapper (CNN) immediately come to mind.
Though it seems some of these Obama-era actors are not in the clear.
Obama-era wrongdoing is being probed in a criminal investigation by U.S. Attorney John Durham.
Also, U.S. Senator Ron Johnson's Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee has voted to authorize subpoenas in its investigation into Obama-era transgressions.
U.S. Senator Lindsay Graham's Judiciary Committee is supposed to be conducting a similar investigation. However, last week, Graham decided to delay voting on authorizing subpoenas.
Graham has a history of talking a big game that doesn't get backed up. Hopefully, this will not become another such instance. The stakes are too high for Lindsay Graham to be weak.
Over the weekend, Graham said that he's been blocked in efforts to hear from two FBI employees who took part in what was reportedly a key interview with the source of the phony, anti-Trump, Clinton-funded Steele dossier.
Graham is reportedly unsure which U.S. intel agency is blocking said request.
It is imperative that these investigations are carried out unimpeded, with the full findings being made known to us taxpayers who fund this nation's government.
We deserve to know the extent of corruption and criminality that has taken place in our government, and we deserve to see all responsible parties held to full and proper account for those transgressions.
It's not a Democrat versus Republican matter. It is a United States of America matter. As Americans, we should want all of this government corruption and criminality punished to the fullest extent of the law, with hopes it will deter such behavior from ever happening again.
