TOWN OF WOODVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One man is dead and another is in custody after a shooting Friday afternoon in Calumet County.
Just after 12:45 p.m., the sheriff’s office was dispatched to a residence in the town of Woodville for a reported disturbance that resulted in a person being shot.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found an unresponsive male who had suffered a gun shot wound. Lifesaving measures were administered, but the 56-year-old man died from his injuries.
A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene and booked into the Calumet County Jail on a recommended charge of first-degree intentional homicide. An investigation is ongoing.
