VILLAGE OF HOWARD, WI (WTAQ) – Shortly after 9:30 Sunday night the Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Lineville Shell, 1773 Lineville Road, in the Village of Howard regarding an armed robbery.
It was reported that a male suspect entered the store armed with a knife and robbed the store clerk.
While investigating the incident a suspect was identified and later taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
The suspect was booked into the Brown County Jail. Charges of armed robbery nd resisting/obstructing an officer have been referred to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
Also assisting the Sheriff’s Office on this call were the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department and Wisconsin State Patrol.
