DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) – An area custodian is named a top 10 finalist in the nationwide contest.
De Pere High school custodian, Benjamin Zimmerman, is in the running for Cintas Corporation’s “Custodian of the Year.”
Cintas says custodians are on the frontline, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. They’re the ones ensuring all school buildings are cleaned, making it a safe place for students and staff.
The winner of the contest will receive a $10,000 cash prize, $5,000 in Cintas and Rubbermaid Commercial products for his or her school and a comprehensive training and development package from ISSA, The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association, valued at $20,000.
