ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The president and CEO of Prevea Health tells FOX 11 the aggressive COVID-19 testing strategy has gone through some changes.
“Testing in the state of Wisconsin has evolved a lot. Not only have the symptoms that we can test for increased, initially we were looking at fever, shortness of breath, sore throat. Now we look at loss of taste and smell, headaches, body aches, we call them myalgias. The CDC has definitely expanded the list of what we can test for and the state has also said to us, test more broadly.”
Dr. Ashok Rai says Prevea also has three drive-through testing sites.
Rai says anyone who thinks they should be tested should call ahead first, so they can be directed to the correct site.
