NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Although it was a chilly day, Neenah’s city pool opened for swimmers for the first time this year.
That reopening came with several restrictions.
Social distancing will continue to be enforced.
Open swim is limited to three, two-hour sessions a day.
The pool can hold up to 700 people, but the city says it will limit capacity to around 170.
‘We have a dedicated person that’s going throughout each of the sessions cleaning things as the session goes on,” said Jim Kluge, superintendent of Recreation For Neenah Park and Rec. “Next week is going to be a great week for pool and swimming and we expect to reach near capacity.”
City leaders say you should bring your own chair to the pools as well.
