MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Timothy Hauschultz was found guilty on four of six counts in connection with the 2018 death of 7-year-old Ethan Hauschultz.
The jury found Hauschultz guilty of one count of child neglect – consequence is death, one count of contributing to the delinquency of a child and two counts of being party to physical abuse of a child.
The jury acquitted Hauschultz of one count of contributing to the delinquency of a child and one count of being party to physical abuse of a child.
The verdict came after more than 12 hours and 20 minutes of deliberations over two days.
Sentencing is set for January 15 at 1 p.m.
