(MARQUETTE COMMUNICATIONS) – Six weekend contests, including a marquee matchup against UConn at Fiserv Forum, highlight the 2026-27 BIG EAST Conference schedule for the Marquette women’s basketball team, announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.
Game times and television information for all conference contests will be announced at a later date by the BIG EAST Conference.
The Golden Eagles open league play on Friday, Dec. 4 at Xavier before hosting back-to-back conference games against Butler (Dec. 6), Villanova (Dec. 10). Sandwich between a pair of nonconference games, MU will host St. John’s Dec. 20. After concluding its nonconference slate on Dec. 22, Marquette closes the calendar year with a New Year’s Eve road contest at Providence on Dec. 31.
The home portion of the schedule resumes on Jan. 3 against Seton Hall before the Golden Eagles travel to DePaul on Jan. 10 and UConn on Jan. 13. Following a home matchup with Georgetown on Jan. 17, Marquette heads to Butler (Jan. 20) and Seton Hall (Jan. 23).
Marquette returns home to face Creighton on Jan. 28 before traveling to St. John’s on Jan. 31. The Golden Eagles host Xavier on Feb. 3 and welcome UConn to Fiserv Forum on Feb. 7.
After a road game at Georgetown on Feb. 10, Marquette heads to Villanova on Feb. 18 before hosting Providence on Feb. 21 and DePaul on Feb. 24. The regular season concludes on Feb. 27 at Creighton.
The Golden Eagles will face each BIG EAST opponent twice as part of the league’s 18-game double round-robin format.
