GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The town of Grand Chute didn’t have to look far to find its next leader.
The town board has selected Travis Parish as the next town administrator. Parish is currently the administrator for the neighboring village of Greenville.
“We are excited to announce Travis Parish will be joining Grand Chute as our full-time Town Administrator,” town chair Beth English said in a news release. “The Town is getting an intelligent, experienced, and knowledgeable leader in Parish. He will be a good fit to lead our talented dedicated staff to serve Grand Chute.”
“I am very appreciative of the opportunity to serve as Grand Chute’s next Town Administrator,” Parish said in a news release. “Grand Chute is a vibrant community with a strong sense of pride, and I am honored to have been selected by the Town Board for this important role. I am grateful for the trust that has been placed in me, and I look forward to working with Town staff, the Town Board, and the residents and helping to contribute to the continued success of Grand Chute.”
Parish’s 20 years of municipal executive experience includes serving as administrator of the town/village of Harrison and the town of Campbell. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is a member of the International City/County Management Association, Wisconsin City/County Management Association and Society for Human Resources Management.
Parish starts in Grand Chute Oct. 19.
