Winnebago County solar farm proposal draws pushback from residents, lawmakers

More than 100 community members gathered tonight to learn more about the proposed solar farm. The meeting was organized by state Rep. Nate Gustafson, who represents the impacted area.

A lot of people are against this project and a lot of them feel helpless, even some of the local municipalities that are cited for this project know that this is going to up the state level eventually to the Public Service Commission where they will ultimately make the choice of if this project goes through or not.
