MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is accepting nominations for three seats on the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board through October 31, 2026.
DATCP will mail nomination forms to eligible corn growers. Growers must sign and postmark completed nomination forms by October 31, 2026, and include signatures from at least five eligible growers other than the nominee. Growers should mail completed forms to P.O. Box 8911, Madison, WI 53708-8911.
Growers who have not received a nomination form by October 15, 2026, or who have other questions about the nomination process, should email DATCPMarketOrders@wisconsin.
DATCP will conduct the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board election from December 4, 2026, through January 11, 2027. Elected growers will serve three-year terms beginning February 1, 2027, and ending January 31, 2030.
About the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board
The Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board is composed of corn producers in nine districts across the state. The board oversees the collection and use of nearly $2 million in assessment fees paid by Wisconsin corn producers.
