Fall Creek, Wis. – Farmers and crop producers are invited to participate in Corn Silage Dry Down Day on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at A&J Agronomy, N503 Freedom Street, Fall Creek, WI 54742.
This educational event provides producers with valuable information to help determine the ideal timing for corn silage harvest. Participants are encouraged to bring four corn stalks ready for chopping. The samples will be tested for moisture and dry matter, with results available the same day.
Knowing corn silage moisture levels is an important part of achieving quality forage, maximizing feed value, and making informed harvest decisions. Dry Down Day offers producers a convenient opportunity to evaluate crop conditions and gain insights that can support successful silage management.
