(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers evened their series with the Minnesota Twins 4-3 at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Saturday.
The Brewers took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when William Contreras was hit by a pitch to score Brice Turang.
Minnesota took a 3-1 lead in the second inning on a bases-loaded walk and a 2-run double by Royce Lewis.
Turang’s 2-run single in the fourth tied the game 3-3 with Andrew Vaughn driving home the winning run with a single in the eighth.
Aaron Ashby got the win in relief to improve to 13-2.
Trevor Megill pitched a scoreless ninth inning for his 21st save.
Robert Gasser started for Milwaukee and lasted just 4 2/3 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks.
Jeff Hoffman took the loss for the Twins.
The Brewers and Twins will wrap up the series this afternoon.
