(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers dropped the opener of their 3-game weekend series 8-6 to the Minnesota Twins at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Friday.
Minnesota scored twice in the third, fourth, fifth and sixth innings to get the win.
Brewers starting pitcher Shane Drohan struggled, allowing 6 runs on 9 hits over 5 innings.
Antonio Senzatela gave up the winning runs in relief in the sixth inning and took the loss for Milwaukee.
Zebby Matthews got the win for Minnesota.
Offensively, Milwaukee got 2 hits from Brice Turang, Luis Lara and David Matthews. Turang drove in 2 runs while Jackson Chourio hit a home run.
The 2 teams meet again tonight at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
