SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Shawano daycare center is rallying around the family of a 5-year-old girl who unexpectedly died at a mini golf course last week.
Bullfrogs and Butterflies Childcare center is hosting a fundraising event Friday at its facility at 201 Eberlein Park Drive in honor of Charlotte Johnson.
The event includes food, raffle baskets, bake sale and a bounce house. It runs until 5:30 p.m.
Emergency responders were called to a mini golf course on E. Green Bay Street July 1 for a report of an unresponsive child. Johnson was pulled from a pond on the property.
