OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Keisha Stuart, a teacher at a Grand Chute school, faces three charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy.
Stuart, 31, made an initial court appearance Tuesday on three counts: second-degree sexual assault of a child, exposing a child to harmful material, and sexual misconduct by school staff member. A $40,000 cash bond was set. She returns to court June 4 for a status conference, court records show.
According to the criminal complaint, the private school alerted police after finding a letter from Stuart to the teen, which raised suspicions.
The teen “confirmed that the relationship with his teacher became inappropriate.” On the teen’s phone, police found video of Stuart removing her clothing, the complaint states.
He then described the various sex acts the two engaged in.
When police arrested Stuart, she declined to comment, the complaint states.
While the criminal complaint does not identify the school, the mother of the victim said it is Fundamentals.
Fundamentals LLC Facebook page describes itself as this: “Fundamentals offers programming for youth in need of support due to emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges that occur in school, at home, or in the community.
