Pittsburgh, PA (WTAQ) — Aaron Rodgers is set to retire after this NFL season.
ESPN reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback told reporters Wednesday that this year will be his last. He signed a one-year contract worth up to $25 million with the Steelers this week, reuniting with coach Mike McCarthy, his coach for 13 seasons with the Green Bay Packers.
Rodgers has flirted with retirement the past few offseasons and his final season will be his second with the Steelers.
The longtime QB was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2005 and played there for 18 seasons, winning the Super Bowl in the 2010 season.
Rodgers played for the New York Jets for two seasons before heading to Pittsburgh.
