GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Police are looking for more potential victims of a man who has been charged with burglary and stalking.
Cayetano Cruz-Mirandan, 30, was arrested with the help of US Marshals. He appeared in court Thursday, where a $150,000 cash bond was set.
Prosecutors say Cruz-Mirandan broke into a woman’s Green Bay apartment after she left to go to dinner last Friday night. Security cameras show Cruz-Mirandan going into the woman’s bedroom, urinating in a laundry basket, then sniffing the woman’s underwear.
Police also found pieces of the woman’s blinds broken off, which they believed was done so that someone could see into the apartment.
Neither the victim nor the apartment manager said they recognized Cruz-Mirandan. Police believe he had been stalking the victim since he knew she was not home. He was identified after the victim posted images on social media.
