(LEARFIELD) – The Wisconsin Badgers will lose some frontcourt depth after Tuesday’s announcement that forward Aleksas Bieliauskas is entering the transfer portal.
The six-foot-10 Lithuanian will have three years of eligibility remaining.
He averaged just under five points and four-and-a-half rebounds per game, while playing about 20 minutes for coach Greg Gard.
He was expected to be a big part of next year’s lineup for Wisconsin.
Other Badgers hitting the portal include John Blackwell, Ricardo Greppi and Jack Robison.
Marquette is losing 3 players – Zaide Lowery, Sean Jones and Tre Norman.
The Green Bay Phoenix is losing Caden Wilkins.
