(LEARFIELD) – The Brewers took the rubber game of a three-game series in Kansas City Sunday, 8-5.
Catcher William Contreras had a double and two runs batted in, while first baseman Gary Sanchez contributed a two-run homer.
Kyle Harrison picked up the win, and Trevor Megill slammed the door in the ninth for his third save.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Harrison getting the win on Easter Sunday.
Murphy said that he’s excited by what he sees in Harrison.
Harrison said that he felt good about his start.
He said that the team competed all day, starting with the bullpen.
Murphy also talked about his team being relentless, leading the league in runs scored with two outs.
The Brewers are in Boston tonight to face the Red Sox in the opener of a 3-game series.
