GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A weekend OWI Task Force in Brown County yielded 50 stops with two arrests.
The multi-jurisdiction effort aimed to reduce dangerous driving behaviors and educate drivers on safe driving practices, was held last week Friday and Saturday.
Here are the reported results:
- Total Stops: 50
- OWI Citations: 5
- Other Citations: 48
- Other Warnings: 46
- Felony Arrests: 1
- Warrant Arrests: 1
Included in the total stops, other citations, and warnings were offenses such as open intoxicants, speeding, seat belt violations, registration violations, and equipment violations.
The next OWI Task Force deployment is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 27 and Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026.
