GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One of downtown Green Bay’s bridges will be closed for two and a half days next week.
The city’s public works department says the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge will be closed from 6 a.m. Monday through 5 p.m. Wednesday. Crews will be doing maintenance work.
The bridge carries Dousman and Main streets across the Fox River. Dousman will be closed at Broadway, and Main will be closed at Washington Street. Drivers will be detoured onto Broadway, Walnut Street and Monroe Avenue.
The drawbridge will also be closed to boats. Vessels that can pass under the closed bridge can still do so.
