(LEARFIELD) – In an attempt to bring the Wisconsin football program back to its former winning ways, coach Luke Fickell and his staff are bringing on more than 30 new players through the transfer portal.
But that hasn’t improved the perception of the talent level on the roster.
Athlon Sports ranks UW’s talent fifth from the bottom of the Big Ten Conference, according to Sports Illustrated.
The new names lack proven, consistent talent.
It will be up to the coaches to develop them into winners.
