(WIAC) – UW-Stout senior lacrosse player Mai Nou Vang, a graduate of Green Bay Preble has been named the WIAC lacrosse player of he week on offense.
Vang, a mid-fielder, scored three goals and added three assists for six points in UW-Stout’s season-opening game against Calvin College (Mich.) in Eau Claire on Feb. 7.
She assisted on three straight goals all within a 1:40 span in the 3rd quarter.
Later in the third, Vang scored three goals as the Blue Devils rallied to cut the deficit.
She had seven shots, five on goal (SOG% .714) while adding five draw controls and two ground balls.
