SEVASTOPOL, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in the town of Sevastopol Friday night.
According to a post from the Door County Sheriff’s Office, the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a crash around 8:30 p.m. yesterday on State Highway 57, just east of the intersection of State Highways 42 & 57.
The initial investigation shows that a driver of a 2008 Pontiac was driving north on 57 when they left the road and hit a utility pole. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
