Luke Fickell was the lone coach of a fall sport that did not receive a contract extension at the school’s athletic board meeting on Wednesday.
UW athletic director Chris McIntosh told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal that Fickell requested in December that his deal not be extended following a 4-and-8 season.
