APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Outagamie County plans to launch a new website on Tuesday.
One of the biggest differences will be an address change from outagamie.org to outagamie.gov.
County officials say the new website was designed with the help of public input. They say popular services will be front and center and the site will be mobile-friendly. It will also have improved accessibility and security. There will also be more options to subscribe to personalized communications.
“Our goal was simple: make it faster and easier for people to get county services, information, and updates on any device, at any time,” County Executive Tom Nelson said in a news release. “We built this with the public in mind, and we hope www.Outagamie.gov becomes your go-to source for trusted county information.”
The website is scheduled to go live at 9 a.m. After that, any links to the old website will not work.
The county asks citizens to send an email to connect@outagamie.org if they find any broken links or have any other issues on launch day.
