Islamic State claims responsibility for attack on Chinese-run restaurant in Afghanistan

CAIRO, Jan 19 (Reuters) – Islamic State claimed ‍responsibility on Monday for an attack on ‌a Chinese-run ‌restaurant in a hotel in Kabul.

An explosion tore through ​the restaurant in ‍a ​heavily guarded ​part of ‍Afghanistan’s capital on Monday, killing a Chinese national ‍and six Afghans and injuring several ‍others, ‍including ​a child, ​officials ⁠said.
