(BIG TEN) – The Wisconsin Badgers’ Nick Boyd has been named the Big Ten men’s basketball co-player of the week sharing the honors with Purdue’s Braden Smith.
Boyd, a 6-3 senior guard from Garnerville, NY averaged 21.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in leading the Badgers to a 2-0 week. He scored a game-high 20 points while adding eight boards, and five assists in an 80-72 win over UCLA. He scored 22 points with six assists, three rebounds and no turnovers in Wisconsin’s 91-88 win at No. 2 Michigan.
It’s his first Player of the Week honor.
Prior to Boyd, the most recent Badgers player to earn those honors was John Blackwell on December 8, 2025.
