(WLUK) — A Menasha man is facing child pornography charges, accused of exchanging sexually explicit content with a 13-year-old girl.
Zakaria H. Adam, 20, is charged with production of child pornography and transfer of obscene matter.
According to the criminal complaint, between April 15, 2025 and April 24, 2025, Adam began communicating via a popular social media application with a 13-year-old girl in upstate New York.
Adam sent sexually explicit photos of himself to the child and convinced her to send sexually explicit images and videos in return, the complaint reads.
On May 6, it was reported to New York authorities that the 13-year-old girl was communicating online with several unknown individuals in a sexual manner.
Investigators seized the child’s phone to review its data and connected to Adam through his phone number, the complaint says.
