OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A convicted sex offender from Oshkosh was indicted last week on four new federal child sex offenses.
Dustin Gildemeister, 39, is accused of distributing obscene visual depictions of the sexual abuse of children. If convicted, he faces a mandatory minimum 15-year sentence and a maximum of 40 years behind bars.
Should he be convicted as an individual required to register as a sexual offender, Gildemeister would be subject to an additional mandatory 10-year sentence that must be imposed consecutive to any other sentence.
Gildemeister is listed on the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry based upon his 2015 convictions in Winnebago County for child exploitation and possession of child pornography.
