(WTAQ-WLUK) — Wisconsin confirms two children have died from pediatric respiratory illnesses so far this season.
One death is a result of COVID-19 and the other is from influenza. Officials did not say how old the children were or where they are from.
Health officials are urging everyone, especially young children, older adults, people with chronic health conditions, and women who are pregnant, to get vaccinated for flu, RSV and COVID-19.

- Avoid touching their nose, eyes, and mouth.
- Stay home and away from others if feeling sick.
- Avoid being around others who are sick or have flu symptoms.
