(LEARFIELD) – The Packers practiced outside in 11-degree weather Thursday, getting acclimated to conditions expected for Sunday.
Starting safety Javon Bullard was a limited participant with an ankle injury. Defensive end Lukas Van Ness and receiver Savion Williams missed practice, while four players who were out for last week’s game against Detroit have returned.
Defensive lineman Karl Brooks, defensive back Nate Hobbs, receiver Matthew Golden, and linebacker Quay Walker returned to the practice field Thursday for the second straight time.
That Bears defense: The Bears defense has been impressive this season with 17 pass interceptions. Packers coach Matt LaFleur talked on Thursday about why Chicago has that many.
LaFleur also talked about Bears safety Kevin Byard who is the NFL leader with 6 interceptions.
LaFleur was asked about how a defense that forces so many turnovers affects a quarterback.
From the lockerroom: Packers running back Josh Jacobs says that the Packers offensive line has improved recently, doing a better job in moving the opponent’s defensive line off the line of scrimmage.
Jacobs also discussed the state of the rivalry between the Bears and Packers.
The Packers and Bears kick off at 3:25 on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
