(WTAQ-WLUK) — Ascension Wisconsin facilities and health care providers will once again be covered under UnitedHealthcare insurance.
The health care system and insurer announced an agreement Tuesday.
UHC had not been covering Ascension since the previous contract ended Oct. 1.
In a statement on its website, UHC says it is notifying customers of the new agreement.
Ascension’s facilities in Northeast Wisconsin include Ascension NE Wisconsin – St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, Ascension NE Wisconsin – Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh and Ascension Calumet Hospital in Chilton.
