TOWN OF WRIGHTSTOWN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The driver of a truck died after losing control in a Brown County rollover crash.
Around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday on County Highway PP, south of School Road in the town of Wrightstown, dispatch received a report of a vehicle that overturned and was on fire.
Officials say the truck was going south on County Highway PP when the driver lost control, left the roadway, and overturned in a field on the east side of the road.
Local fire departments were dispatched due to the vehicle and surrounding area starting on fire as a result of the rollover.
The driver and sole occupant of the truck did not survive the injuries sustained from the crash and died on scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
