William Munson (Brown Co. Jail)
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – William Munson was convicted Wednesday for a June 2023 shooting which injured one woman.
Munson pleaded no contest to first-degree reckless injury and possession of a firearm by a felon. Another count was dismissed. Prosecutors will ask for ten years in prison at the Nov. 7 sentencing, court records show.
Witnesses said there was a fight and some yelling before a gunman fired multiple shots toward a group of people in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Main Street. A 22-year-old woman from Sobieski was wounded. Munson turned himself in to police nearly six weeks after the incident.
