(WTAQ-WLUK) — Two beaches in Winnebago County are closed due to elevated bacteria levels.
The county’s public health department made the announcement in a Facebook post Friday.
Guests cannot swim at Lake Butte des Mortes Boat Landing and Winneconne Park due to high E. coli, which poses a serious risk of illness.
