Menasha police seek public’s help locating dog after child bitten in weekend incident

MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Menasha police are looking for a dog after it bit a child over the weekend.

On Saturday, police learned of a young child that was bit by a dog in the 500 block of De Pere Street. The incident occurred in the late afternoon or early evening. The child received minor injuries.

The dog was not known by the family and had never been seen in the area. Officers made contact with other households in the area and were unable to locate the dog. The dog was described as black and grey, possibly a Blue Heeler type breed.
