Brown County to conduct tornado siren tests; residents may hear short siren tones

(WTAQ-WLUK) — Brown County residents may hear the sound of siren testing Monday and Tuesday.

Crews will be doing their annual maintenance on tornado sirens both days at sites in Suamico, Hobart, Green Bay (east side) and Allouez.

Short duration siren tones will be made during these inspections to ensure they are working properly.

No action is needed if you hear the tones.

If severe weather is forecast during the test window the tests will be postponed.
