GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Firefighters were dispatched to the 2000 block of Hiawatha Dr. around 7 p.m. Friday night for a fire.
Callers reported seeing heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof.
The two residents got out of the home with their three dogs before firefighters arrived.
The fire started on the home’s siding before burning into the attic and spreading throughout the house.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire in the attic from outside of the home.
The cost of the damage has not been determined, but it is likely that much or all of the home will need to be rebuilt.
Nobody was injured.
