GLENMORE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A 21-year-old man died after his UTV rolled over and crashed in Brown County.
Around 9:48 p.m. Sunday, crews were called to the area of County Highway NN and County Highway X in the town of Glenmore for a report of a UTV rollover with the driver trapped underneath.
When deputies arrived on scene, rescue personnel and witnesses performed life saving measures. Unfortunately, the Denmark man did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officials say the man accelerated rapidly away from the intersection of County Highway NN and County Highway X, lost control of the UTV, causing it to roll over several times. The driver was partially ejected from the UTV.
Deputies say speed, alcohol, and lack of seatbelt use are all factors in the crash.
The incident is being investigated by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
