GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Registration is underway in the Green Bay Area Public School District for the 2025-26 school year.
Families new to the district and families who already have a child in the district can register online.
To successfully complete registration, you’ll need proof of residency (current mortgage info, current lease agreement, current energy/gas/water bill), the child’s birth certificate, and their immunization records.
Lori Blakeslee, Director of Communications & Public Relations for the district, says even if your child is already registered, its important to complete the information verification.
“It sounds like its re-registering, but really it’s just going in and making sure we have that really vital, important information regarding how best to contact families; we want to make sure phone numbers, emails are still accurate,” said Blakeslee. “This year we’re asking families to make sure that we have their correct language identified, so whatever the primary language is at home; so we can communicate with families in the best way possible.”
In addition to registering online, families also have the option to register at the Welcome Center located at 232 South Broadway with the help of a staff member. There are also translators on site.
“This can be helpful especially if they’re new to the area and they’re not sure what school their child would attend, they don’t know how transportation works; those are all things they can have addressed at our Welcome Center,” said Blakeslee.
Blakeslee says another way parents can be prepared for the school year by checking out their child’s specific school’s website; which has information on required school supplies, open house nights, and other details on the upcoming school year.
