Sammy Watkins (11) finally joins the line at training camp.
Green Bay, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) –The Packers have released their dates for public practices for training camp beginning in late July.
13 practices are open to the public, beginning with the first day of camp at 10:30 in the morning on Wednesday, July 23rd.
That’s the first of 3 straight open practices to begin camp.
The team takes Saturday the 26th off before they practice four of five days at Ray Nitschke Field the final week of July before Family Night at 7:30 on Saturday, August 2nd at Lambeau Field.
The first preseason game is the next Saturday, the 9th of August, at 7 PM at Lambeau Field against the New York Jets.
Green Bay will hold a public practice on Tuesday, Aug. 12, before going to Indianapolis, where it will have a joint practice on Thursday, August 14th with the Colts ahead of their lone preseason road game at noon on August 16th.
The Packers finish off the open sessions of training camp with an open practice on Aug. 19 and then an open joint practice against Seattle on Thursday Aug. 21st before facing the Seahawks at Lambeau Field on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 3 p.m.
